Sandra Axt

Ms. Sandra began dancing at the age of three at the Dance Studio of
Manchester in Manchester, NH. Her love for dancing grew when she began competing in Coral Springs, FL with the All About Dance Company. After moving back to Spring, TX in 2005, Ms. Sandra began dancing with Vicki Michelle and the VM Dancers under the direction of Kimberlee Childress. She continued dancing through high school performing in multiple pre-game and half time shows, competing at various competitions and attending numerous conventions and master classes in and around the Houston area. In 2007, Ms. Sandra and other students went on to form the Klein Oak Dance Company and helped to incorporate a dance class for special needs students in her high school. In 2010, Ms. Sandra was chosen as one of Houston’s top ten choreographers.

After high school, Ms. Sandra continued to take various ballet and jazz
classes while working towards her Bachelor of Arts in English, which she
received in 2014. Ms. Sandra loves working with kids and is glad to call Synergy, home!

Toni Bravo

Since 1991 Ms. Bravo has been commissioned to teach, choreograph, and perform for communities all over and outside of Austin. These include: Instituto de Bellas Artes in Matamoros; Festival Internacional de Arte de Mujeres in Costa Rica; Instituto Cultural Mexicano in San Antonio; The Arts Council of Marshall Texas; Festival de la Frontera in Nuevo Laredo; King Alfred’s College in WantageOxfordshire, England; Essen/Werden Gymnasium in Germany; St. Michael’s Academy and Totally Tiperary Arts Festival in Cloughjordan, Ireland. During 2010 to 2012 she visited Germany again to teach at Essen/Werden Gymnasium and The Berlin Kids International School. In Berlin she established an artistic relationship with LISTROS Gallery. Since 2012 she also conducts the Irish Youth Dance Residency in Dublin, where Diverse Space Youth Dancers perform every summer at the Irish Youth Dance Festival. In July 2015 Bravo began a new relationship with Dublin Dance House; International Choreographic Arts Centre  (ICKamsterdam) Amsterdam; SKVR Dansmakers, Rotterdam; Lern Werk, Berlin [www.lernwerk.de]; and she has conducted “Leaps and No Bounds” classes for teachers and students at Freie Schule Anne Sopphie, Berlin; International School, Amsterdam: Colegio Arquitecto Santiago Calatrava, Valencia; and The Model School of Dublin. She is also a member of IDOCDE, International Documentation of Contemporary Dance Education.
