Summer Dance Camp
General Information for Dance and Creative Arts Camps
Our summer program includes weekly themed camps like Teen Pop Sensations, Vacation Destination. New York New York, Everything Miley and So You Think You Can Dance that include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Acting, Gymnastics, Arts and Crafts. We offer 3 hour preschool camps for ages 3-5 and 5 hour day camps for ages 4.5-11. Extended hours are available for an additional fee.
Each camp is divided up by age and ability for beginner and experienced dancers, no previous dance experience is needed! Let your child explore his/her artistic side as they participate in a variety of activities from dancing, dressing up in costume, acting and musical theatre to painting, making crafts, scenery and a variety of art projects. Each class is taught by qualified, experienced teachers and class size is limited.
Dance and Creative Arts Camp Details
Preschool camps for ages 3-5 yrs run from 9-12pm. A healthy snack is provided each morning. Tuition is $150 per camp with 8-9:00 am extended hour available for an additional $25. Themes for 2010:
Storybook Princesses- favorite characters including Ariel, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Princess & the Pea
Vacation Destination- popular vacations spanning the globe including Paris, Disneyland, Hawaii, African & Egypt
Hooray for Hollywood- famous movie stars, popular movies & characters
Day camps for ages 4.5-11 yrs run from 10-3pm. Each student is asked to bring a sack lunch and a healthy snacks including fresh fruits and veggies are provided each day. Tuition is $185 and extended hours are available at a rate of $25per week/hour. (ex. 8-10 am $50, 9-10 am $25, 3-4 pm $25, 3-5 pm $50 or 8-5 pm $100). Themes for 2010:
So You Think You Can Dance- contemporary music and dance set like the popular TV show
Teen Pop Sensations- Miley, Selena, Jonas Brothers, Demi and more
Vacation Destination- popular vacations spanning the globe including Paris, Hawaii, Africa, Egypt & California
Everything Miley- music and moves from Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana
New York, New York- from Broadway to music about the Big Apple
All students should wear comfortable clothes, dance attire and shoes are not required. On the last day of camp, parents will be invited to view the participant’s work and watch a short performance at the end of the day.
General Information for Summer Dance Intensive
I
n addition to our Dance and Creative Arts camps we offer a week long summer intensive for the experienced dancer age 6-14 looking to expand their dance education and improve their knowledge and technique. Our Summer Dance Intensive Program includes ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop and contemporary in addition to specialty classes in gymnastics, African, yoga, musical theatre, acting , dance history, arts and crafts. Classes run 12-5:30 pm daily with extended hours available (ask Ms. Sherrie for rates). Professional and experienced staff will teach every class and guest teachers will be offered daily. The week will conclude with a performance for the parents so don’t miss out on a fun filled camp with exciting teachers and choreography. Tuition for the summer dance intensive is $275. Dancers need to wear appropriate dance attire and bring all dance shoes and a water bottle daily, healthy snacks will be provided.
General Information for Drill Team Intensive
New for this year we are expanding our summer programs to include a specially designed camp for dancers age 11-15 interested in trying our for their high school dance team. Classes will include kick, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, technique, audition skills and more. Guest teachers who specialize in their subject with regard to high school dance teams will teach classes daily. Previous dance experience and proper dance clothes and shoes are required. Classes will be held 12-5:30 daily and tuition is $225. Daily healthy snacks will be provided, dancers should bring a water bottle.

Extended Hours
Extended hours are available for camps. Preschool camp extended hours run from 8-9am for an additional $25. All other camps have extended hours of 8-5pm at a rate of $25 per week/hr. Refer to Dance and Creative Arts Camp Details for further info and pricing.
Registration
Our camps are guaranteed to be a lot of fun, so don’t delay. Reserve your space today by filling out the camp registration form and submitting your NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $100 (applied towards camp tuition, balance due 2 weeks prior to camp). A $15 total discount is given if registering for 2 or more camps and $10 total discount applies to families registering 2 or more students. We offer quality, experienced teachers and facilities that include suspended hard wood floors, viewing windows and wall to wall mirrors.
