General Information for Summer Dance Camps

Our summer program includes three different types of camps.
1. Dance and Creative Arts weekly 5- hour themed day camps for ages 4.5-11 including Taylor Swift, Glee, Shake it Up, One Direction and Beach Vacation that include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Acting, Gymnastics, Arts and Crafts.
2. Dance and Creative Arts weekly 3 hour preschool camps for ages 3-5: Princess Party, Dancin’ Disney, Movie Stars and Fairy Wonderland.
3. Summer dance weekly 5 hour Intensives for ages 7-16 including a *Recreational Jazz and Hip Hop camp for beginners and Dance, Jazz and Drill Team intensives for Intermediate to advanced levels.
* Dance and Creative Arts and Recreational Jazz and Hip Hop intensive camps are divided up by age and ability for beginner and experienced dancers, no previous dance experience is needed! Let your child explore his/her artistic side as they participate in a variety of activities from dancing, acting and musical theatre to painting, making crafts, scenery and a variety of art projects. Each class is taught by qualified, experienced teachers and class size is limited. Extended hours are available for both camps for an additional fee of $25 per weekly hour.
Dance and Creative Arts Camp Details
Preschool camps for ages 3-5 yrs run from 9-12pm. A healthy snack is provided each morning. Tuition is $165 per camp with 8-9:00 am and 12-1:00 pm extended hours available for an additional $25. Themes for 2013:
Fairy Wonderland June 17-21- have fun with Tinkerbelle and all her friends
Movie Star Sensations July 8-12- take a walk on the red carpet like a movie star
Princess Party July 22-26-dance with your favorite princess characters
Dancin’ Disney Aug 5-9- from Minnie Mouse to Cinderella, Disneyland has so much fun to offer
Day camps for ages 4.5-11 yrs run from 10-3pm. Each student is asked to bring a sack lunch and a healthy snacks including fresh fruits and veggies are provided each day. Tuition is $220 and extended hours are available at a rate of $25per week/hour. (ex. 8-10 am $50, 9-10 am $25, 3-4 pm $25, 3-5 pm $50 or 8-5 pm $100). Themes for 2013:
Shake it Up June 10-14- music and moves from the popular TV show
One Direction June 24-28- One Direction, do we need to say more!
Beach Vacation July 15-19- Fun in the sun with popular music and dancing
Glee July 29-Aug 2- music and moves from the popular TV show
Taylor Swift Aug 12-16-Dance to popular music by this popular artist
All students should wear comfortable clothes, dance attire and shoes are not required. On the last day of camp, parents will be invited to view the participant’s work and watch a short performance at the end of the day.
General Information for Summer Dance Intensives
In addition to our Dance and Creative Arts camps we offer week long summer intensive for dancers from beginners to advanced. These are designed to offer more intensive training than our Dance and Creative Arts camps for dancers age 7-16. Dancers are divided up by age and ability. Classes run 12:30-5:30 pm daily with extended hours available (ask Ms. Sherrie for rates). Professional and experienced staff will teach every class and guest teachers will be offered daily. The week will conclude with a performance for the parents so don’t miss out on a fun filled camp with exciting teachers and choreography. Tuition for the summer dance intensive is $265. Dancers need to wear appropriate dance attire and bring all dance shoes and a water bottle daily, healthy snacks will be provided.
Summer Dance Intensive June 17-21 ages 7-16-includes ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop and contemporary in addition to specialty classes in yoga, musical theatre & choreography.
Summer Jazz Intensive July 8-12 ages 7-16-includes jazz, contemporary, lyrical and hip hop styles. Classes will emphasize improving technique, flexibility and strength.
Recreational Jazz and Hip Hop Intensive July 22-26-ages 7-16 previous dance experience is not required. This camp is designed for beginner to intermediate level dancers wanting to focus on jazz and hip hop styles.
Drill Team Intensive Aug 5-9 ages 11-16-includes jazz, contemporary, kick, hip hop, audition skills, performance skills and technique. Specially designed for students trying out for their high school drill teams.

*$10 discount is given off of total camp tuition if registering for two or more camps.
*$10 sibling discount given off of total camp tuition for families registering 2 or more students.
*$10 registration fee for students not registered in the Fall 2012-Spring 2013 year.
*$100 deposit due per camp with balance due 2 weeks prior to camp start date.
Extended Hours
Extended hours are available for camps. Preschool camp extended hours run from 8-9am and 12-1pm for an additional $25. All other camps have extended hours of 8-5pm at a rate of $25 per week/hr. Refer to Dance and Creative Arts Camp Details for further info and pricing.

Our camps are guaranteed to be a lot of fun, so don’t delay. Reserve your space today by registering online or filling out summer session registration 2013 and submitting your NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $100 (applied towards camp tuition, balance due 2 weeks prior to camp). A $10 total discount is given if registering for 2 or more camps and $10 total discount applies to families registering 2 or more students. We offer quality, experienced teachers and facilities that include suspended hard wood floors, viewing windows and wall to wall mirrors.
